Come & See Vocation Visits
​& Retreats Hosted By Our Sisters 

​Come & See Individual Vocation Visits 

Young women discerning religious life are welcome to visit our Sisters as your schedule and ours allow.  Please call the Province, 866 Cambria Street, Cresson, Pennsylvania 16630 (814-886-4223) to make arrangements.  A weekend visit will enable an opportunity to meet our Sisters, to closely observe our way of life, and ask questions. 

Retreats hosted by our Sisters at
​St. Joseph Convent, Munster Township,
​Portage, Pennsylvania

Married Couple’s Retreat:  Journeying in Faith, will be hosted from Friday, February 14th, beginning at 5:30 pm, through Sunday, February 16th, ending at noon at St Joseph's Convent, 1872 Munster Rd, Portage PA.  Speakers will include Fr. Leo Arnone and Fr. Aron Maghsoudi.  For the weekend’s meals and expenses, there is a suggested donation of $75 per person.   Please register by Tuesday, Feb 11 by contacting Sister Jacinta at sisterjacinta@gmail.com or 814-886-4459.  Organized by the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Teenage Girls’ Retreat (7th – 12th grade):  Why be Catholic?, will be hosted from Friday, January 17th, beginning at 6:00 pm, through Sunday, January 19th, ending at noon, at St Joseph's Convent, 1872 Munster Rd, Portage PA.  Speakers will include our Sisters and guest Priests. The retreat will consist of Holy Mass, confession, adoration, conferences, games and crafts. A suggested donation of $50 is requested. Please register by Tuesday, January 14th by contacting Sister Jacinta at sisterjacinta@gmail.com or 814-886-4459.  Organized by the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Women’s Retreat (18 years and older):  Going Deeper in Our Faith, will be hosted from Friday, March 6th,  beginning at 5:30 pm, through Sunday, March 8th, ending at noon, at St Joseph's Convent, 1872 Munster Rd, Portage PA.    Speakers will include our Sisters and guest priests.  For the weekend’s meals and expenses, there is a suggested of $75 per person.
