Founders of Our Religious Congregation:
St. Joseph Sebastian Pelczar & Bl. Klara Ludwika Szczęsna
St. Joseph Sebastian Pelczar
Professor and Rector of the Jagiellonian University, theologian, writer, patriot, social worker, shepherd of his diocese, spiritual father of the Congregation he established. An extraordinary man in which his broad horizons found connection with his depth of spirit, sensitivity of heart and realistic outlook at the surrounding reality. Gifted by God with many "evangelical" talents, he multiplied them in his life a hundredfold, bringing others not only material help, but above all - by word, pen and example - pointing the way to love eternal values. |

Bl. Klara Ludwika Szczęsna
Open to God by listening to his voice and heeding his inspirations, she undertook with full commitment the co-founding of the new Congregation dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Silent, modest, humble, remaining in the shadow of the Founder, but at the same time endowed wisdom of life, practical sense and great inner sensitivity to the needs of others, especially the poor, she became a living example for the Sisters to be the Servant of the Divine Heart. |
