PSALM 98
Sing a new song to the Lord
for he has worked wonders,
His right hand and holy arm
have brought salvation.
The Lord has made known his salvation;
has shown his justice to the nations.
He has remembered his truth and love
for the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God,
Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
ring out your joy.
Sing psalms to the Lord with the harp,
with the sound of music.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
acclaim the King, the Lord.
Let the sea and all within it thunder;
the world and all its peoples.
Let the rivers clap their hands
and the hills ring out their joy.
Rejoice at the presence of the Lord,
for he comes to rule the earth.
He will rule the world with justice
and the peoples with fairness.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
PSALM 138
I thank you, Lord with all my heart,
you have heard the words of my mouth.
In the presence of the angels I will bless you.
I will adore before your hold temple.
I thank you for your faithfulness and love
which excel all we ever knew of you.
On the day I called, you answered;
you increased the strength of my soul.
All earth’s kings shall thank you
when they hear the words of your mouth.
They shall sing of the Lord’s ways:
“How great is the glory of the Lord!”
The Lord is high yet he looks on the lowly
and the haughty he knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of affliction
you give me life and frustrate my foes.
You stretch out your hand and save me,
your hand will do all things for me.
Your love, O Lord, is eternal,
discard not the work of your hands.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
PSALM 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High,
who abides in the shade of the Almighty,
Says to the LORD, “My refuge,
My stronghold, my God in whom I trust.”
It is he who will free you from the snare of the fowler
Who seeks to destroy you;
He will conceal you with his pinions
And under his wings you will find refuge.
You will not fear the terror of the night
nor the arrow that flies by day,
Nor the pestilence that roams in darkness,
nor the plague that ravages at noon.
Though a thousand fall at your side,
Ten thousand fall at your right,
You it will never approach;
His faithfulness is buckler and shield.
Your eyes have only to look
To see how the wicked are repaid,
You who have said: “Lord, my refuge!”
And have made the Most High your dwelling.
Upon you no evil shall fall,
No plague approach where you dwell.
For you had he commanded his angels
To keep you in all your ways.
They shall bear you upon their hands
Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
On the lion and the viper you will tread
And trample the young lion and the dragon.
Since he clings to me I will free him;
Protect him for he knows my name.
When he calls I shall answer, “I am with you.”
I will save him in distress and give him glory.
With length of days I will content him.
I shall let him see my saving power.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Canticle for Saturdays and Marian Feasts
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name.
He has mercy on those who fear him
in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm,
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.
He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel
for he remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children forever.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
ACT OF PERSONAL DEDICATION TO THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS ACCORDING TO ST. MARGARET MARY
(For Fridays)
I give myself and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that I may be unwilling to make use of any part of my being save to honor, love and glorify the Sacred Heart.
This is my unchanging purpose, namely, to be all His, and to do all things for the love of Him, at the same time renouncing with all my heart whatever is displeasing to Him.
I therefore take you, O Sacred Heart, to be the only object of my love, the guardian of my life, my assurance of salvation, the remedy of my weakness and inconstancy, the atonement of all the faults of my life, and my sure refuge at the hour of death.
Be then, O Heart of goodness, my justification before God your Father, and turn away from me the strokes of His righteous anger. O Heart of love, I put all my confidence in you, for I fear everything from my own wickedness and frailty, but I hope for all things from your goodness and bounty.
Consume in me all that can displease you or resist your holy will; let your pure love imprint you so deeply upon my heart that I shall nevermore be able to forget you or to be separated from you; may I obtain from all your loving kindness the grace of having my name written in you, for in you I desire to place all my happiness and all my glory, living and dying in very bondage to you.
O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all thanksgiving, be every moment Thine. (3 times)
ACT OF APOLOGY, OFFERING AND PETITION
(On Days of Penance and Friday During Retreat)
Falling on my knees before you, Lord Jesus, hidden in the Most Holy Sacrament, in union with heaven and earth, I glory your Most Sacred Heart, united with the Divine Person, as the Heart of my Creator, Savior, King, Friend and Physician, the sanctuary of Divinity, the source of graces, the throne of virtues and the gate of heaven. I praise the infinite love of your Heart, which no one can perfectly understand or properly return.
Why, Jesus, do you not receive love from all people, in return for the love which you have shown during your earthly life, and which you reveal continually in the Most Holy Sacrament? Why do so many, instead of serving you faithfully, wound your Heart by sins and even by worldliness, as if again piercing your Heart with a lance and nailing you again to the Cross?
With all my heart, I am sorry for the irreverence shown to you in the Most Sacred Mystery of the altar. In satisfaction and reparation, I offer all my prayers, works, penance and sufferings, all Masses of reparation which the priests celebrate and all Holy Communions which loving people all over the world receive in reparation. I grieve at people’s lack of faith, and indifference, and, O Jesus, I beg that you would not punish straying souls according to your justice, but save them in your mercy. May all, moved by your grace, be converted to you, come to know how good and how loving you are.
Unfortunately, I have been offending you with my sins until now, and for your infinite love, I have repaid you with forgetfulness and ingratitude. You could have already cast me into hell for all these offenses, but instead, you have shown me your mercy. Thanks be to you Most Merciful Heart! Ashamed by your goodness, I fall on my face before the Divine Heart, as before a throne of grace, crying out: I apologize for all my sins committed in the world and in the Congregation. I apologize for all offenses against religious virtues and obligations, for my transgressions against the Constitutions and Statutes, and for my lack of fervor in your service. I apologize for carelessness and lack of respect during Holy Mass, for the cold and maybe even unworthy reception of Holy Communion. May my whole life, from this moment on, be a continuous penance; since my sorrow is poor and unstable, I unite it with the sorrow which in the Garden of Olives and on the Cross your Divine Heart felt for all the sins of mankind, including my own. From now on, I do not want to offend you with any sin, but most especially with the one which I commit most often … I desire to make reparation to your love for my sins and for the sins of others. From this moment, I will offer unending homage of adoration and love to your Divine Heart, hidden in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Overcome with adoration and love, I now offer and consecrate myself to you Most Sacred Heart. I dedicate to you all the faculties of my soul and body – my thoughts, feelings, words, actions and sufferings.
I also consecrate all my life and eternity to serve you alone, to praise and to love you – together with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Henceforth, I, your possession and servant, want only to do what pleases your will. I wish to abandon myself to that which your will commands, and, through the hands of your Most Holy Mother, to surrender all my concerns to your Sacred Heart.
I consecrate and offer to your Heart, my family and Congregation, the entire pilgrim Church, all people on earth, and the suffering souls in purgatory, that you would receive glory from everyone.

VISIT TO THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT AFTER THE EVENING MEAL
Psalm 130
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord,
Lord, hear my voice!
O let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleading.
If you, O Lord, should mark our guilt,
Lord, who would survive?
But with you is found forgiveness:
for this we revere you.
My soul is waiting for the Lord,
I count on his word.
My soul is loving for the Lord
more than watchman for daybreak.
Let the watchman count on daybreak
and Israel on the Lord.
Because with the Lord there is mercy
and fullness of redemption,
Israel indeed he will redeem
from all its iniquity.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them. (3 times)
May they rest in peace. Amen.
